Other than lifestyle, schools are THE main attraction to incoming relocation buyers in San Ramon and Danville CA. The state goal for all schools is an 800 API. Only 31% of all schools in California meet that goal. Less than 15% of all high schools state-wide meet the goal. All SRVUSD schools, including the high schools meet the goal.

Compare that to a district API of 674 for West Contra Costa Unified, where elementary scores are as low as 620, middle school scores start at 578 and one of the high school scores is 549. The district API for nearby Mount Diablo Unified is 747, Newark Unified is 739, San Jose Unified is 758.
