Cynthia: It's so nice to read some good news for a change and hear that your market is doing well. For those of us who are experiencing tougher times, we will break out of this cycle. It's just a matter of time. Keep up the good work.

Cynthia, The media always forgets to mention that real estate is local...I'm glad your place is doing well, it looks like a wonderful and inexpensive place to live.

Seems to me that a 98.57 ratio of list price to sale price is interesting. That is only possible in a pretty steady market.

Another pocket of sanity...good for you!

Cynthia - Great reminder that real estate is local. Yes houses are still selling, and I agree with Lenn that the ratio of list/sale price is an indication of a good market.

You have some very good points here. So anyone looking to buy or sell, or a Military Family relocating now know that in your area the market is just fine. That's important for anyone to know.

I was talking with someone last night who has a daughter in your area and she told me what she paid for a 1 bedroom apartment. Those prices still just blow my mind! So yes, in comparison my area is a bargain for sure.
