"It isn't the burdens of today that drive men mad.
It is the regrets over yesterday and the fear of tomorrow.
Regret and fear are twin thieves who rob us of today."
~ Author, Robert Hastings
Your action for today is
to remember a regret and learn
from what you did or didn't do.
"There is only one success -- to be able to live your life in your own way."
American Editor and Author, Christopher Morley
I remember it was close to 6:00AM in San Mateo, CA
I was home in bed watching the news and having my coffee
when a reporter broke in on "Breaking News!"
standing in front of one of the smoking Twin Towers.
Then watching live on the news as the second plane hit
- gobsmacked at what I just saw thinking "this can't be real."
In my lifetime I've seen some spectacular and some horrible things.
That's life I suppose, yin & yang, good & bad, win & lose, etc.
I will never forget, but I will always remember
the gratitude I felt for the first responders that saved lives
and our military avenged this terrorist act.
