Locally Owned and Operated Coffee Shops seem to have so much uniqueness about them that you just don't find in a chain store, that's why two best friends decided to go into business this past year to create an independent coffee house on the East side of Newnan. Located at Summer grove's Market Square, Percolate Coffee and Boutique opened up with a goal in mind to provide a welcoming atmosphere for folks to enjoy a terrific coffee drink, maybe a muffin or two and hang out.
When I frequent a coffee house, I like to know where the beans come from and a little about the roaster. Aundrea (one of the owner's) said that they get their coffee from an in State Coffee Roaster, Jumpin Goat Coffee. First off, the name is captivating! Also of importance is the rigorous bean selection and quality control standard set by the roaster that you can read about on their website.
The coffee shop also includes a small boutique featuring gifts and apparel products. I enjoy featuring small locally owned business and especially new ones. I noticed that they are a member of the Newnan-Coweta Chamber of Commerce of which I just joined as well. Here are their hours:
