Bought a New House and I cant Afford a Landscaper - My Solution!

By
Home Stager with Tennessee Wholesale Nursery

I couldn't afford a professional landscaper, What on earth was I supposed to do?

I have been so dismayed as to what to do with this lawn I have. I buy houses and fix them up and I am so dissatisfied with the landscaping at one I just closed on.

I went to some other realtors and asked them what in the world should I do.  The oldest and most successful one told me to buy bare root trees, they are cost-effective, easy to plant and grow as well, or better than buying an expensive container and a handful of soil in it.

So I went on my journey to try and find the best and cheapest places online to buy some trees, flowers, and shrubs for this home that is a dream place inside and looks like the ghetto outside. Below is what I found and these are some of the best places and worst I've ever found online.

And yes, I got my plants and I am excited. Below are some of the top places. I couldn't find everything I was looking for at one place so I shopped one day online and I found everything I was looking for. I am so excited about springtime!

I wanted some flowering trees! You know those gorgeous dogwood trees in pinks, reds, and whites plus some crepe myrtle shrubs in those beautiful shades of lavender and red.

Here's What I found for the best prices and quality on flowering trees

TN Nursery- Yes, this is the megastar and bar-none of all plant nursery websites. They have a plant finder that tells me what zone I am in as soon as I enter their site! Talk about technology this is it! I ordered my crepe myrtle from them and also a mulberry tree. Got my plants in and they were super moist and well packages. The trees were healthy and stocky. I also went online and seen their planting videos and it helped me a lot.

Wholesale Nursery Company- This place has the absolute lowest prices but you got to buy at least 25 plants of one variety to get those super low prices and they are really low too. It's wholesale but it allowed me to purchase plants. In the checkout, but it plainly said this is a wholesale website and we guarantee our plants to arrive in excellent fresh dug condition but no further warranties. I was fine with this since they were giving me time to open the box and see they were good-quality plants. And they were, all of them plus some extras. I got 25 Daffodil plants, 25 mixed native ferns for a shady spot, and 25 forsythia shrubs to make a hedge from. I bet those will be stunning in springtime.

Garden Delights Nursery - This is a nice place to shop at. They also have good prices and a lovely website that also detected my gardening zone. I called them to ask them how they did this and they told me it was an API integration that picked up my IP address. It also had a "gardening elsewhere" so I could enter another zip code and they'd recommend plants for other areas too! Impressive. I ordered a weeping willow tree for a swampy area and 4 big huge pine trees for a living fence.

Garden Plants Nursery - Last but not least this place had good prices and a great selection. I ordered 1 red maple tree, 1 sugar maple tree, and also a redbud for the backyard. I got some berry bushes also for wildlife to eat to put on the border of the property and also a couple of privet hedges for some year-round greenery.

Look at my before and afters and share this please!
