Another tear falls

Burt Bacharach. Just the mention of his name brings to mind songs that touch your heart... at least for those of us 'of a certain age'.

I'll never fall in love again, Promises promises, Baby it's you, Close to you (made famous by Karen Carpenter), Anyone who had a heart, Walk on By, What the world needs now, and What's new pussycat made famous by Tom Jones, and of course "I say a little prayer for you", made so wonderfully famous in the movie: my best friend's wedding.

Along with this one... a lesser known, but just as heartfelt "Another Tear Falls", in this case made current by Puddles the clown.  Enjoy.

and by the way.... Margaret Rome just called (I always love hearing from Margaret) to ask me if Burt had passed away, unbeknownst to her... and that's not the case.  As far as I know, Burt is still alive and well and humming along.

Hi Alan- I don't know if you watch AGT but the most recent season had some amazing talent. I do remember Puddles the clown.

Alan May - With the exception of "Another Tear Falls," I'm well familiar with the other songs because in High School, I worked part time for the Chicago Record Shop on Chicago Avenue and my dad brought home records that were removed from the Jukeboxes when they were replaced by new hits from friends of his. "Another Tear Falls," is just beautiful. Thank you for sharing. I really liked it a lot. 

As I watched the video, there was something very familiar with the Clown. After reading the comments, now I know why!
