Nerdin Gardens: Digging up Bones
Some people live in the past, refusing to move forward for many reasons. They know some things are meant to be left alone but still resurrect those memories of a time once done and long gone.
A gardeners work is never finished and while we dig into the nutrient rich soil, we live for today and plan future crops. Mistakes are taken into account and new processes implemented to ensure success.
We refuse to dwell on what could have, should have or would have been. This week, all plant material with be removed and the raised beds covered until spring to prevent invasive weeds from taking over.
No time to be digging up bones when front facing and looking ahead. Happy gardening all!
