This Week...Embracing Our Fall Weather
Even though our weather has been in the 80s during the day, our mornings have started out nice and cool (for us).
Delicious autumn! My very soul is wedded to it, and if I were a bird I would fly about the earth seeking the successive autumns. George Eliot
Everyone on our morning walks had smiles on their faces and commented about the weather. Even the dogs were more frisky!
There is a harmony in autumn, and a luster in its sky, which through the summer is not heard or seen, as if it could not be, as if it had not been! Percy Bysshe Shelley
It may not seem important to you but any day without our Houston humidity is a good day and cause to celebrate!
I trust in nature for the stable laws of beauty and utility. Spring shall plant and autumn garner to the end of time. Robert Browning
It’s hard for me to say that I have a favorite season...I welcome each one.
However, Spring asks us to start planting and cleaning,...Summer wants us to travel and pack as much fun as we can in 3 months...and Winter is packed with holidays to plan and buy for and family visits to schedule.
Fall, on the other hand, asks nothing of us but to sit back and relax and enjoy the transition from summer to winter.
When autumn darkness falls, what we will remember are the small acts of kindness: a cake, a hug, an invitation to talk, and every single rose. These are all expressions of a nation coming together and caring about its people. Jens Stoltenberg
Enjoy your Fall Weekend!
