We appear to be observing a shift to more listings here in Sacramento as well. The increased inventory should help stabilize the market. I also note that some homes seem to be staying on the market a little longer. I think it has to do with prices reaching an outrageous level in some areas. There is a limit to what people will pay I guess!

Thanks Myrl. The lack of home affordability is going to have a huge impact on our industry over the next ten years. Transactions will drop dramatically (though not prices/values). I expect to see the # of Realtors decline by 20-40%.
