This morning my granddaughter, Hailey Stout, is running in the NYC Marathon for Team JDRF and is her first marathon! I’ll be following her bib # 14046 and cheering for her loudly from Austin. Her mom and dad will be there when she crosses the finish line!
This young lady in the tiger dress, is fierce…when she decides to do something, nothing gets in her way! She is running for a lifelong friend growing up who was diagnosed with T1 Diabetes when she was 9 years old. She is raising money to help find a cure for this life-threatening autoimmune disease in which a person’s pancreas stops producing insulin.
