Pink Mist
Pink Muhly MIst
This is one of my favorite fall-blooming foliages. In the past, I have cut the Pink Muhly back around the first frost in late November or early December. However, I read that it should be cut back in late winter. So I will probably wait until January this year to cut it back.
As you can see, it does grow well in Sedona. Our climate zone is 8a or 8b. We are in the transition zone between the Sonora Desert and the Colorado Plateau.
I love sunrise and this grass just glistens during the early morning. Because of our substantial monsoon, this is the heartiest I have seen this grass in 15 years! What is nice about this grass is how long the blooming lasts. I get to see it glisten every morning!
"Spectacular'
"Sunrise looks spectacular in nature; sunrise looks spectacular in the photos; sunrise looks spectacular in our dreams; sunrise looks spectacular in the paintings... because it really is spectacular."
