With all the bad news in the Industry, at least there is some good news. More and more banks are beginning to realize that they need to move their inventory quickly. Because of this realization, they are listing homes at rock bottom prices. Finally, the banks are listening to their Realtors and accepting our BPO prices. The result is that many of the nicer repos are listed at great prices, prompting multiple offers. This in turn, creates an auction atmosphere which tends to drive up the price. The end result? The home sells over the listing price.
Currently, the best repos in our office are selling quickly and the numbers are climbing. Homes sales are up! Buyer's agents are busier than ever. It looks like it's shaping up to be a great year!
