I'm a 21st Century Digital Boy

I was driving home from the store tonight with my wife, and I felt like I was the kid coming out of the candy store with the biggest lollypop. I left the store with my new techie gadget "A Mini HD-DV Camcorder. I could not wait to share the news so I had to call a local Arizona blogging buddy to tell him about my new purchase. Wow my toy is so exciting.

About a week ago, I went to a seminar and learned how powerful video can be with telling a story. I am not new to being around camera, so it should be fun. I am charging up the batteries and will be trying it out in the morning. I am meeting my painter in the morning to have him paint my rental property and maybe I will do a video blog about the features of the place. I should have it ready to be re-rented within the week.

This thing can shoot still photography and video in HD and DV. Get Ready for My big debut.

So what did you get and how much did it cost? I just wrote a post about this yesterday, so I am all ears.......or eyes I guess.

Gary, sounds like a great purchase. Video seems to be the upcoming thing is marketing. REALTOR® Magazine has a big article on using videos in this month's issue. Just got the magazine in yesterdays mail. Good luck with your new video camera.

Gary - cool story, good title (doesn't quite have the flow of the Doors "20th Century Fox", but still cool)" Keep us posted how the new toy works out.

Scott- Gadgets are fun; hopefully it will help convey better messages. Only time will tell.

Ellie-I bought an Aiptek HD Camcorder 5 megapixel up to 8 gigs of space. It was only $120.00. Cheap for what I want to do. I will check out your post in a bit.

Michael-Video is becoming great. At a training seminar, I learned how to mix a little video in with our day to our clients. This marketing approach is something new and different. More people are becoming visual these days.

Mike- that title is actually a song from a Punk Rock Band. Listen to the song and it will make sense.

Gary - thanks for the link, kind of like the Blue Man group on too many energy drinks.

I like those guys.

Mike- These guys are one of the most underated Punk Rock Group. They have been rockin for 3 decades now.
