Year-to-date sales statistics for Haywood County, North Carolina, as of June 27, 2008 clearly reflect (see first chart below) that homes priced between $100,000 to $199,999 are the 'hottest' sellers right now; i.e., our 'sweet spot.' Sales in this price range totaled 104 (38%) of the total sales to date in 2008 of 271.  "That's hot!"

The lowest priced homes ($1,000 - $99,999) had the deepest discounts at an average of 15.1% (see second chart below), with homes in the $300,000 to $399,000 reflecting the second deepest discount of 7%.
