Long Term Partnership with Austin Habitat For Humanity

At the Coldwell Banker Realty Northwest Austin Office, we work hard, we play hard and we make a difference!

                  

On Veterans Day a group of our awesome NW Coldwell Banker Realty agents volunteered our time for the ABoR Foundation, Austin Habitat for Humanity at 7225 Zachary to help construct their 44th home in this community!

        

There are currently 43 homes completed out of 67. It’s amazing what can happen when many hands work hard all day! It was a clear, cool, sunny day perfect working conditions. I feel grateful to be a part of an organization that believes in investing our energy and expertise to be of service to better our community through long term partnerships!

It is one of my favorites...I was teased because my hard hat sported the name Lacey on it and I couldn't rub it off! Oh well I was Lacey for a day! LOL!!

It looks like you have quite a crew there.  Wouldn't it be something if the builders set aside a few homes in each subdivision for this sort of thing?

It actually works out well having a whole subdivision doing the same thing. The recipients of these homes are required to invest 352 hours of volunteer time on other houses. It's so fun to meet some of these recipients as they sign up and join different crews.
