6 Reasons to Give Thanks in Arizona

We all have plenty of GOOD things to give Thanks to our Lord and creator for. Here are 6 things to be thankful for.

1. Giving thanks to God our Creator for each new day that dawns. No matter what our situation we are guided to:

"Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus." Philippians 4:6-7

Next to giving Thanks to the Lord (most important)for everything here are some other reasons to be thankful to our Creator from my perspective here in Arizona:

4. Snow in the desert. It has snowed the last few years in Scottsdale believe it or not. Here I am a few years back. A simple yet pleasant surprise.

5. Our great country, the United States with its own flaws, but striving always to be better as a light on a hill. As Abraham Lincoln said in November 1863 at the memorial of the cemetery at the battle of Gettysburg Pennsylvania from July 1-3, 1863 where there were 57,225 casulties, the deadliest battle of the 5 year conflict, with those that died giving their last ounce of blood in death to end slavery in our country of the Land of the Free and the Home of the Brave.
