Here we go again, it is that time of year when we shop more than usual because it is the holiday season I went to Lou's Farmers Market to get the bananas to make banana bread they sell overripe bananas at a discounted price . They had the most beautiful poinsettias. There were many different sizes and different prices too! There were these gorgeous plants with glitter and so colorful, so many different color choices and only $19.99 and I would say at stood 2 -3 ft tall They also had a beautiful selection of Christmas trees starting at $40 - Lou's Farmer's Marker is located in Bensalem on Rt 13 across from the Holy Ghost Prep Schools
The next Deal and Steals I found were please don't laugh were Cashews. Fresh smell heavenly cashew nuts at Produce Junction they were only $6.99 a pound bag .I have seen cashews in other stores for more than $13 and not nearly as fresh . They also had a great deal on poinsettias. There were various sizes and shapes at extremely reasonable prices I saw people leaving with carts full of them. Some starting as low as $2.00 a plant .I am sure you will find many other bargains there Produce junction is also located in Bensalem behind Street and Knights Rd .
Here in Philly and Pennsylvania it is getting chilly. There are drafts in my condo, especially where I have my desk. It is not a big deal as I have a small fireplace that is electric that looks like a wood burning stove. It heats up the space perfectly when I am working Cleo loves to lay in front of it too. It is light and I can pick it up and move it or leave it when I am not using it . A friend of mine wanted one for her bedroom, but purchased one online that was much too big and she needs to return it . This Steal and Deal is for her Walmart has Fireplace heaters 16" 1500 watts on sale for $79 it is similar to the one I have and would be perfect for what she wants I believe Shoprite also has the same unit when you check out.
We had our office party last Friday night at Warrington Country Club. The food was delicious and there was an open bar. HomeStarr has over 325 agents and eight local offices so of course it is impossible to know everyone. You were allowed to bring a guest too, and there was entertainment . Dancing ended the evening and a great time was had by all . Thank you Jerry Hill. He really is a hands on broker. In all my years in the business I have never seen such dedication and devotion to everyone of his agents
This week I have been busy making sure everything is perfect for closings next week . My sellers live out of the area so I am the contact to make sure everything will be just right for the buyer and the seller . The Buyer's agent and I have been in constant contact to be sure everything is in order. The deed and sellers affidavit was sent and returned . I am making a list and checking it twice . The last thing on the list is I will do a walk through before the buyers and their agent again to make sure everything is just right for everyone as I do not like surprises . The cooperating agent was a pleasure to do business with.
