I am super fortunate to have been born in Knox County Ohio and more specifically in Mount Vernon, Ohio. We are located 45 miles north of Columbus, Ohio and we are geographically in the exact center of Ohio ideal for traveling to the bigger cities such as Columbus, Cleveland, and Cincinnati. Knox County is a rural community with thousands of acres of farmland and wonderful woods. The undeveloped land and woods throughout the county make for a perfect place for wildlife to flourish.
Our home has a wooded area with a year-round flowing stream and the deer absolutely love it. We have deer visit us every morning since we have lived here and we typically put a bowl of corn out for them as a way of keeping them from treating our landscaping as their own personal salad bar. I have some GoPro cameras strapped to a few trees and I added a GoPro Jaws Clamp to one of the cameras so that it will attach to the feed bowl to capture some ultra close-up photos and videos of them while they are eating.
