Growing up as a coal miners kid in WV this was one of the few treats we would get 1 time a year when we would get a big snow.  I passed the tradition off to my sons and now they do it with their own kids.  How about you?  Have you ever had snow cream?

Good morning, Norma... can't say that I have done... I grew up in New York City... while we did get snow you wouldn't eat off the streets of NYC.

Hello Norma - as a Southern California native, snow cream was not known to me as a childhood treat.  In fact, it's not something I was familiar as I grew old and then older.
