Come Zoom Around the U.S. With Me
I am looking forward to hearing Carol's presentation about this epic trip. I was one of the fortunate ones who got to meet and share a few fun-filled hours with this inspiring friend.

It was Carol that made me realize I was already living my bucket list!

Ever since I was 14 years old I've had a long road trip around the U.S. on my bucket list. Honestly, I didn't even know what a bucket list was then, so little did I know I had started one.
As the years went by, there were lots of roadblocks pop up and excuses I could have made for not ever doing this trip. However, I took the above quote to heart and was determined to find a way.
This past Fall, at the age of 69, I finally did it and it was amazing! Along the way, I did 12 ActiveRain meetups with 28 people from the Rain. I also made a whole bunch of new golfing friends as I drove and golfed my way around the U.S.
I've been invited to do a Zoom presentation about my trip for ActiveRain members this coming Tuesday, December 21st and I'd love to have you join us! I'll be sharing stories and pictures. Here are some of the topics I'll be covering:
What Inspired Me To Do This Trip?
How I Planned & Organized For This Epic Trip
Dealing With Safety & Security Issues As a Solo Woman Traveler
Accommodations (Hotels vs Airbnb's vs Private Home Hosts)
How To Pack For An Extended Trip
How NOT to Gain Weight & Still Enjoy Regional Cuisine
Miscellaneous Considerations
The Trip By the Numbers
My Favorite Part of the Trip (The Winner is...)
Biggest Surprise
What I Didn't Like
What I Would Do Differently
