New Parking Rates, Montgomery County, Maryland

New parking rates at Montgomery County-operated garages, parking lots and street meters will go into effect beginning on Monday, Jan. 3, and will be implemented in stages over the following months. The Montgomery County Council adopted the parking rates as part of the Fiscal Year 2022 budget process.

Hello Roy - with the arrival of a new year, we also welcome changes in laws, different rates and regulations plus all sorts of additions (and some deletions) to our daily routine.  It' seems to be true every year.  Not a prediction but an expectation.

Good morning Roy. In Chicago, rates are up, up and away! Plus, they sold the parking rights to a private fund for 80 years. The fund recouped their investment and was very profitable within three years. Who was the genius? Enjoy your day.
