Anticipating Bonkers. . .  

 

Finding quotes can be interesting.  At least I think so.  As I have shared in the past, searching for quotes has led me on numerous pondering paths.  Down rabbit holes, over rivers and through woods plus off in directions of all sorts.

 

The other day, I encountered some well-known quotes as well as others that were less familiar to me.  Here is one of those from a new-to-me-discovery: 

 

As a child, I was bonkers for Christmas.  The entire month of December, I couldn’t sleep at night from anticipation.  Rosecrans Baldwin 

 

Whether it’s traditional and a longtime favorite, rarer than usual or something entirely different, maybe even bonkers, occurring in your world, may you have a wonderful and memorable holiday. Merry Christmas!

I too, am bonkers for the holidays, Michael! I can't say that I've ever lost sleep other than Christmas Eve as a child believing in Santa Claus!

I took an online break yesterday to focus 100% on my family and enjoyed every minute of it!  I hope you had a delightful day as well!

Hi Michael Jacobs - I was out-of-pocket much of last week but I do believe that my grandson fits bonkers for Christmas.  He was up at 2 am opening the gifts under the tree while all the sugarplums were dancing in his mom's head!

Michael Jacobs I like the surprising insertion of the word "bonkers" in that quote. Usually quotes are "high-brow" and "elegant".  Your quote of choice stands out with its vivacity. Happy New Year to you!
