Sometimes One Just Needs a Break

The commercialization of the Holidays causes a lot of stress for both consumers and retailers.  Just as much stress is created for all the elves that help at this time of year.

With the pandemic, it has gotten even more difficult as people rush to buy their gifts and keep their little ones in tow.

Sometimes, you just need a little 'me' time to recharge. As was the case as I caught the gent below.

Hello Ed - whether it's a pause, a sigh or maybe even a "whew" taking a "break" is important.  Especially during the holidays but any day can "work" too.

We all do, for sure, Ed! Funny but, I took an online break yesterday so I could focus 100% on my family. I enjoyed every minute of it!

I hope you and yours enjoyed your Christmas as well!

Happy Merry Day after Christmas

My guess is that Santa needed the break. I can't imagine the stress of doing that job - even if you love little kids, it would be a bit much!

I've been in my pajamas all day.  I have felt contentment this Christmas, but that normally exuberant feeling I have this time of year was a bit absent this year.

Hi Ed- that is the perfect photo to reflect how so many of us feel. We got home yesterday after spending the afternoon with all of my cousins. Larry fell asleep in his easy chair.

Taking breaks is what allows us to keep going!  My breaks have always seemed too short and I can't wait until retirement and I can take long breaks, haha.
