One Big Key Necessary For Success as a Real Estate Agent

Last year I suggested a close friend of mine get a real estate license. He said OKAY and he did. He had a license some years in the past in California where he sold less than four to eight homes.

 As he worked on his schooling, I gave him different suggestions that I have used in my career beginning in 1978 in Ohio. Just to think with the two of us we could kick up a storm. (Whatever that saying means ha) As time went on, he never did anything, and after some time, told me he was going to end his time as a real estate agent.

 You see I never thought about it, I never realized this was not for him. He left Phoenix earlier this year and moved to Florida. As we spoke last month on the telephone, he mentioned he had sold his car, like the grocery store, Costco, and other things he needed were just one mile away, and he no longer is driving for Lyft. And then he made the statement which I never realized before. He said: “I am not a people person like you.”

 That is the KEY to real estate sales, now it is not all you need by far but if you can’t walk up to strangers and begin conversations with a smile on your face and keep working the conversation until you get the other person to get into the conversation with you, real estate sales is not a please for you to devote your time.
