December Challenge - Miracles
And Gratitude in Atlanta GA
So there you are - having worked decades in Real Estate and your youngest of the five adult children calls and asks to meet because she wants to discuss her work. Meet Brenda - photo above!
First, after fainting with joy that she still values your opinion, you say, "Sure!" During the talk she explains that she wants to leave her job with Marriott Hotels in Corporate Finance after seven years. My response? JUST LEAVE!!!
With sincerity, I suggested she go for whatever change she wanted. Even two new starts if the first one didn't work out. In 2021, what under 30 year old even has stayed in one job for that long? Life is short and uncertain. SEEK JOY!!!!
Second, another fainting spell coming, she tells me that she wants to go into Real Estate! Again, I respond, "JUST GO FOR IT!"
Of course, after seeing the hours that real estate entailed from her first-hand position, I was surprised. Yet as Kahlil Gibran taught us in his poetry, children are the arrows of our souls and once shot from the bow, we cannot reclaim them nor follow them. They must find their own path.
We worked well together until she finished her post-license CE. My boutique office is a bit "slow" for someone with her verve and dynamism. I had hoped she would find her rhythm. And she did...
Brenda decided on a change! She explained the she was needed a bit more activity and she wanted to transfer to another firm. I listened as she explained how she would go about finding another place to hold her license.
Third, the MIRACLE! Brenda now works directly with an amazing woman - Christian Ross - who is the Managing Broker of Engels + Volker Midtown. I cannot express how fantastic her placement is. And, as a mom, I'm thrilled that she is with someone I know and respect! A gift to me to know how well she positioned herself and the enjoyment of a true holiday positive ending to the year! All the best - Lynn
Meals on Wheels Volunteering together ...
Note the "halo" surrounding Christian!!!
