Pictured above is a tree I noticed yesterday afternoon, as we were taking a walk after lunch in the La Cumbre shopping center.
I was drawn to this pile of colorful leaves that the tree had dropped. It was perfect combination of color near a small tiled wall.
Yesterday morning, in our mastermind, we had talked about creating our own reality, or trending on purpose, on our very own purpose. As humans we often trend in self-opposition.
We fall into the traps of comparing and contrasting, measuring our performances, and seeking approval. In doing that, we defeat ourselves and give air time to negative thoughts.
Plants and creatures we love are incapable of self opposition. They tune to the rhythm of Nature. They live on purpose in harmony and joyfully. They are who they are. They have no ego, nor do they create one to identify with.
"The most common ego identifications have to do with possessions, the work you do, social status and recognition, knowledge and education, physical appearance, special abilities, relationships, person and family history, belief systems, and often nationalistic, racial, religious, and other collective identifications. None of these is you."
~ Eckhart Tolle
Trending deliberately means not trending with what others are thinking, or telling you how and what to be in every aspect of your life. Don't critique others, live and let be! Don't disagree, don't fix, let it be. Besides all that, remember it is none of you business!
"When you live in complete acceptance of what is, that is the end of all drama in your life."
~ Eckhart Tolle
We have said and many others have stated that "we are works in progress. What if instead, you would take a different point of view and see your perfection, and merely worked to flick off all the accumulated debris that is not you?
When Michelangelo would select a block of marble, he saw within it the statue, and he knew all that was needed was to carve away at the stone that was not part of his vision?
"In every block of marble I see a statue as plain as though it stood before me, shaped and perfect in attitude and action. I have only to hew away the rough walls that imprison the lovely apparition to reveal it to the other eyes as mine see it."
~ Michelangelo
"I saw the angel in the marble and carved until I set him free."
~ Michelangelo
Are you ready to set yourself free?
