I’m so glad to live in Austin Texas! We lead the nation in population in-migration, robust job growth and economic expansion. We are in the best position to handle the challenges facing us with COVID regulations, supply change issues, affordability, unemployment etc. In Addition to the UPTOWN ATX project there are 5 other Austin developments coming on-line in 2022.
2021 has been full of challenges and I’ve decided my motto for 2022 is “Lead by graciousness and understanding.”
Tallying the numbers for 2021 showed our home sales for the year increased 21% compared to 2019!
Our inventory is at record lows. Expect our Canyon Creek market to continue the trajectory we experienced in 2021. Buyers understand the house they look at today, will either be gone or more expensive tomorrow. They are also checking out schools and US News and World Reports announced Canyon Creek Elementary ranked #7 in the Lonestar state!
Upon reviewing the numbers:
- Sold prices climbed 57% from 2019 to 2021
- Highest price sold in 2021 - $1,063 (a 54% increase)
There are 2 Active homes found on December 31, 2021 (out of 1,330+ homes) and only 4 Contract Pending homes.
