Fulton County
Fulton County is a county located in the U.S. state of Kentucky. It was formed in 1845. As of 2000, the population is 7,752. Its county seat is Hickman[1]. The county is named for Robert Fulton.

Geography
According to the U.S. Census Bureau, the county has a total area of 231 square miles (597 km²), of which, 209 square miles (541 km²) of it is land and 22 square miles (56 km²) of it (9.37%) is water. About 11 sq mi of the county is separated from the rest of the state by the Mississippi River, requiring travelers to cross into Tennessee to reach the Kentucky Bend exclave.
