The people who bought in 2006 were on the roof and going down on the ladder for years. I think you have to weigh the economy, your employment and cost when going into a mortgage, the ladder is always trending upward.

That was the case in many market places but Nova Scotia has always been different. Our difficult years resulted in miniscule increases but didn't decline. We've always had a slow, steady marketplace with the exception of the last two years. 2021 increased as much as 32.4% in some areas of our capital city of Halifax.
