Sorry I am late, but I have been making a Ravioli and pasta soup. Recipe coming tomorrow. The other day I was at the Super market as a storm was predicted and cold weather so I decided to stock up. There were two women screaming at each other in the parking lot . I don't know why . One was in a car the other standing there . A young man was leaning against the wall I asked him but no response. They were really screaming, no letting up. It was quite unnerving . When I walked in I told a security guard and they quickly outside.
I was aghast at the prices of fresh spinach $7 for the size I needed. Banana's (banana bread) however, were reasonable and found over ripe ones for $.49 a pound. To be honest prices were very high for most items there were some sales and many items on sale were not on the shelves and the longer I was in the store the more crowded it became . Bottom line I spent almost $200 luckily I went back to my house twice to get my shopping bags or I would have been charged extra for them. I also talked to a friend I needed therapy. How do big families survive?
This makes me realize just how important it is in today's economy, bargains become to everyone. I used to laugh at my parents when they shopped bargains now I understand how they felt . So I will continue this weekly bargain post
Now and just like that I stopped at the Dollar Tree most items are now $1.25 . If my Neice April had not warned me I may have been upset, but was not I was forewarned. The deals were still great! Full size General Mills Cereal Chex apple cinnamon $1.25 what a DEAL Kraft Macaroni and Cheese $1.25 still a Deal Snyder braided Honey pretzels 10 oz size $1.25 and so much more by the way the garlic bread there is $2.00 is the supermarket, same exact for $1.25 and it is delicious last to my great surprise cool whip and grandkids love it $1.25 the large size
Marshalls is having it's big winter close out sale . I have been using this new type of nail file it is made of glass works wonders price at Marshalls $3.99 elsewhere up to $20 . Looking for a new Handbag well saw some high end stunning ones and was very tempted looking back sorry I did not grab one as I am sure it is gone. There were beautiful Brahmin I am so sorry I did not take home it was priced at $99 manufactures tag read $499 the other bag was Patricia Nash . When you find a treasure at Marshalls you have to grab it or it will most likely will be gone. I found a rug that looks like an animal skin from the old west love, it had to have it so unique. There were so many top named make-up products and perfumes . Wonderful steals and deals on lamps and even furniture . There was a life size mirror that was breathed, taking it was $600 but I have seen some priced at $4000 that were not as beautiful.
Walmart has some great deals too an Air Fryer for a $89 Chefman French door 26Qt also a Shark Robot Vacuum Robot wifi connect $119 -- Samsung Chromebook 4,11.6 Intel 4GB 3G so if you are looking they also deliver
Now please do not forget I am a Real Estate Agent I received a call from one of my favorite tradesman Rossi plumbing and heating telling me they did not receive their check that was supposed to be mailed to them from a closing. I called the company immediately they apologized it seemed with the holidays somehow it was still in the file and would be sent today. The other person who did repairs stopped by for his cheek that I was holding for him. Hannah he said I needed a break, I took a well needed rest and thanked me for the work and holding his check. I thanked him for a job well done.
Prices of Homes continue to rise and demand has slacked off because of the holidays and is down by approximate 7% from last year at this time
