In 2007 we found a kitten at the office. We had just come home after visiting my daughter when she had twins. The date will forever be in our minds. When we went by the office on our way home, we spotted a tiny kitten in the woods beside the office.
Henry sat on a rock for three days talking to her, trying to get her to come to him. He loves cats, and it was a sure gift that she had chosen us to be her future family. After we caught her, took her to the vet, she became the official office cat: OC-Spot- Holstein-Monday. A lot of names for a bit of cat.
Tonight, because of snow, she is back at the office for a visit; she remembered her favorite chair and has made herself at home. When we take her to the vet, he tells us that she is an old cat and will not be around forever. She is just 14, and we plan to have her for many more years...even when we have to camp at the office because the power is out at home and she needs to be warm.
