Being Unprepared is Like Swimming Without Water
Showing up without proper planning is a poor work ethic in the making. It's also irresponsible. Consumers depend on professionals every day to help guide them to solid decisions while achieving sales goals.
Can you imagine if everyone in the business arena showed up to work but were not ready, willing or able to perform?
Filling out paperwork, determining wants and needs, discussing every minute detail, including time-lines, terms and conditions matter. Good communication and follow through is expected by clients.
To avoid unintended consequences, it's imperative to:
- Meet all deadlines within the REPC
- Represent well the buy/sell side of a transaction
-
Practice consistent cooperation with everyone involved
Distractions tend to pull attention away from being present, remaining focused meets and exceeds daily set goals.
Preparedness shows a high level respect for clients and business principles, it also allows quick decisions to made. Otherwise, the result may be akin to swimming on dry land, while getting nowhere fast.
Ouch, that's got to hurt!
