14 homes sold in Lawson during the Fourth Quarter 2021, four fewer than in the same quarter one year ago. New listings increased by four year-over-year to 13.
Demand for Lawson homes was also reflected in the drop in average days on market, which were down 5 days to 10 days compared with the same quarter one year ago. Median days on market were just 3 days. As a result, home sellers received an average of 102.4% of their asking price during the fourth quarter 2021. 13 of the 14 homes that sold in the fourth quarter received at least 100% of list price in final sale price.
Median list and sale prices for Lawson homes increased in the Fourth Quarter 2021 versus 2020, as did average and median listing prices. Average sale prices in the fourth quarter increased 37.34% to $603,321. Median sale price in the fourth quarter was $586,250, an increase of 59.52% year-over-year. Home sale prices in the fourth quarter ranged from a low of $352,000 to a high of $810,000.
At fourth quarter-end 2021, no homes were listed for sale in Lawson and two homes were under contract. For a community of some 600+ homes, inventory is razor-thin.
