Everyone knows a REALTOR® or a dozen, but how do you choose the RIGHT one to work for you? Ask lots of questions! Have they been in business for more than a year? If you need a listing agent, what do they do to ensure a steady stream of buyers through your home? Do they have professional photos done? (the eye buys, and the better the photos, the more buyers) How are they pricing your home? How do they handle multiple offers?
If you are a Buyer, do they know the area you want to buy? If buying acreage, do they know well and septic systems and what to do for inspections? Do they require being pre-approved prior to looking at homes? Do they know some tricks to "win the bid"? This is a big one in today's slim inventory.
Buyers or Sellers - how is their communication? You don't want to choose a REALTOR, then have them disappear, or have assistants take over the transaction.
