National Supermarket Employee Day - 2/22/22

Today is National Supermarket Employee Day and for those who don't know, my youngest son, Liam, works at Giant Foods in Catonsville, so the fact that today is National Supermarket Employee Day is near and dear to my heart.

Thanks to Liam Piper-Brandon and all his coworkers and for all supermarket employees who suited up and showed up during these last few years, here is a big Thank You for all you do every day.

I really have appreciated our supermarket workers during this pandemic.  While supplied of certain items were scarce, they still maintained their helpful care.

This is a good reminder to share some kindness when we encounter the workers in our local markets.

Chef Dolores is heading to Trader Joe's this morning.

Hello June - although it's now a day later, we can still appreciate supermarket employees.  In fact, people in every business can and do make a difference each day.
