Nobody can tell you how great the house is like the sellers can. 

The cottage feel of the house was a certain first draw along with the walkable neighborhood and a backyard for our dogs.       "We often feel like we are on vacation in our house. The western sunsets from the sun porch on the front of the house, morning coffee in the secluded back yard facing east, flow of the house for parties, and quiet street makes it a joy to come home.

When I enter this neighborhood, I still can't believe that we live here. The wide streets, beautiful homes, and well-maintained gardens.  We live in Guilford which has a rich neighborhood tradition of community building including Guilford Supper Club (monthly gatherings pre-pandemic), weekly concerts in Sherwood Gardens (approximately a 3 minute walk) in spring and fall, and a number of volunteer opportunities.

Norwood Road has had a more than 40-year tradition of a September Block Party where current and former neighbors gather. This has spurred current residents to have cul-de-sac gatherings. These cul-de-sac gatherings happen approximately quarterly with a different theme (e.g., Halloween, fire pits, hot chocolate).    "         "I love that Baltimore is a college town. We live between Johns Hopkins and Loyola University Maryland which has a variety of assets open to the public. As neighbors who are unaffiliated with Loyola, we belong to their Fitness and Aquatic Center, for instance.

We love that Baltimore is a city of neighborhoods with farmers markets and festivals happening throughout the year.

We had never lived somewhere that had such good transportation to and from other major cities. The train system alone is a huge asset getting us to NYC, Boston, Philly, and DC with ease.  "  We can walk the 1 mile to Miss Shirley's for brunch or to the Ambassador for Indian.                We love Mom's organic in the Rotunda! Our friends in DC had raved about it for years. We now see why.               We wanted to live in Baltimore City to reduce commute times while having a bit more of a suburban feel.              Our neighbors represent a diversity in where are in our life cycles and family structures including retirees, new parents, and families in their 40s and 50s with no kids. About 12 kids live on our street from 13 months to 17. They all seem very happy with their schools with no clear answer. Some go to private, public charter Montessori, public high school, and parochial. I'm so impressed with families ability to easily navigate these plethora of options.
