First Time Buyers, Why I love them...

By
Real Estate Agent with Crye-Leike, Realtors
I was a first time buyer once--a scared-to-death first time buyer, that's what I was. I didn't have a clue what was going on---shame on me for not doing my research and being educated, I know, but I totally depended on my agent to know everything and really just let myself be led through the entire process instead of being steps ahead of her and everyone else involved. Now don't get me wrong, I loved my real estate agent and still do to this day--as a matter of fact, I attribute her strength and character to 2 of the big reasons I chose to be in real estate. She's a great agent and a wonderful mentor. Thank you for everything Cindi! I have a soft spot for first time buyers and so far, it's proven to be my niche. Those buyers are so excited when they make the decision to buy a home! They send you a list a mile long of properties that they want to see and then you spend an entire weekend looking at the houses, then you spend a month of weekends looking 'til you find THE ONE--whew! You drive around, and around, and around...looking. I love it! Some agents don't particularly care for the looking part, or the indecision, or the looking again--I'm sure you all have shown the same house to the same clients a few times. : ) I like the feeling though of knowing that I actually got to have a hand in taking a dream and making it a reality--that is an awesome thing!
