I loved the Dollar Tree... I like the Dollar and a quarter Tree. Of course they didn't rename it that but they did reprice it to that.

When I went there this afternoon I had hoped to make a find to tell you about and I was not disappointed. In the past, when I looked at their DVD selection it was filled with very old B and even worse movies (absolute junk).

Today there were many good DVD's and even Blu-Ray offerings. I picked up this one, not a movie, but good.

I've always loved Del Shannon's voice and that is what sold me. I was not at all disappointed when I got home and played the disk. While the recordings on this disk are at least 30 years old (Del passed away in 1990) the music and video recording quality's are excellent.

BTW I have been on the hunt for any form of media (VHS, DVD, or Blu-Ray) with the movie TIME BANDITS on it. I guess I'll hit eBay as I can't find it locally here at any of the thrift stores.

Good morning, Bob... I love Dollar Tree and I haunt it frequently. Sometimes when I just need a break, I'll go over to one that's very close to my house and just browse for 15 or 20 minutes... you never know what you'll find. That list of performers is beyond terrific... I always said there was no good music after the early 70's. To this day, I know all the words to all those songs!

I didn't realize what a bargain it was Wanda Kubat-Nerdin - Wanda Can! until I actually played it and saw and heard the quality of the recording. Next time I go back I think I'll see if there is another for Tina (my daughter).

We are cut from the same cloth Nina Hollander, Broker but I've known that since I first met you. The funny thing on this perticular DVD is that it still had the Walmart sticker on it for $4.95. I also purchase most of my Ramen noodles there for the jail ministry that I do. They still sell those to me for a dollar per 5 pack.

I just love the song "Runaway" Ron and Alexandra Seigel and after listening to this DVD I realize I like all 4 of the songs he sings on this disc.

Bob, our local dollar tree still charges a dollar but most of the bulk items have less in them than before. You mentioned those old music and I found a channel on Sirius Satellite radio which plays 40's music. I was born in 1956 but love that music.

I'm a couple of years older than you Mike Frazier and I love all music but I've pretty much skipped over the 40's however  I listen to the 20's and 30's fairly often.
