Larry was born and raised in the Farmville, VA area. At the age of 15 he became the youngest person in Virginia to obtain a real estate license. Larry joined the Air Force and served four years stationed in the U.S. and abroad. Upon returning to his hometown, he renewed his love of real estate and started working with his dad, Basil. On Larry’s birthday August 1, 1972 State Wide Realty was opened. Larry has two kids that work alongside him everyday. He contributes to his community through sponsorships, serving on boards and supporting other local small business owners like himself. In his spare time, Larry likes to collect antique Farmville items, hunting and fishing.
