I just saw the dirtiest vacant house I have ever seen. I wonder if a bird owned it.

I think the new brood will appreciate the clean house, but may not be nice enough to keep it clean.

Hi Kathy Streib - Larry does such a nice job with this.  I have had birdhouses sitting in my backyard for years and only have seen 1 nesting. You guys are doing something very special.

Hahaha Clean out your nest folks!  That was funny Kathy!  You two do such an awesome job of caring for the birds!!

Kathy if a bird box houses 3 broods in one breeding season, can that be considered shared housing?  🤪

I had to smile at Larry's need to clean out the box after it had been vacated.  It sounds like a few listings I've had where a landlord needed to yuck out premises trashed by vacated tenants, prior to putting the home on the market.

We went through the empty nest sadness however we worked for 18 years to build independent adults and it worked 🙂

Hi Kathy - I wonder how many human empty nesters present a challenge because of the condition of their nest after raising a family.

I hope I never have sellers who leave a home like that for the buyers! Geez!

I've seen many a home that the sellers left a mess. It still surprises me. I cannot imagine leaving a home anything but clean for the new owners.
