Today, June 29th, 2008 celebrates the birth of my beautiful wife, Debra. I got to spend the entire day with the most beautiful woman on the planet as she took in all her gifts, cards and love. My sons created a "Birthday Hunt" where Mom had to find clues all over the house that were written on postits and hidden everywhere. There were some pretty tough clues, but she gottem all!
The "hunt" came down to two gifts. A new Mountain Bike or a new iPOD. Guess which one she chose? It was a fantastic day which ended up at a really nice steak house called Stuart Anderson's Black Angus, where we wined and dined on great food and had some of the best company ever, our kids and my Mom and Dad! I don't get to see my parents as much as I'd like to these days, so this was a real treat for me as well.
Though a part of me was feeling guilty for not being available today for my family here on AR, there was also a bigger part of me that felt very lucky and blessed to have a wife like Debra. There's is no one else on this earth that could would put up with me like she does. She should get extra AR points just for dealing with me. :-) She is very much, the biggest part of me!
So in the tradition of Birthdays, and me being the hopeless romantic that I am, I want to wish My Wife the very VERY best Birthday not only today, but every single day of her life. She is the best thing that has ever happened to me, and she deserves all the wonderful things that life has to offer!

Brad, what a lovely birthday tribute to your princess. I'm assuming that those pictures are not from the birthday celebration -- white dresses and steak dinners don't usually go well together :)
By the way, there's something in a name... My princess shares yours name, except with an added "oh" -- Deborah.
