What can I say....LIFE at the lake is AWESOME!

Some of the best memories I have as a child is having a cottage in Antioch, Illinois on the Chain-O-Lakes.  Boating, swimming and family time are something I have always wanted to share with my children.  So, my husband and I decided to buy a home on one of the most beautiful lakes in Wisconsin (atleast we think so) called Legend Lake in Keshena.

My husband and I broke down and bought a PWC a.k.a Personal Watercraft or Wave-runner.  Having two teenagers, you could imagine their excitement whenever they would think about riding this, by themselves of course. 

The excitement left their faces when we explained to them that they needed to take a "Boating Certification"class before taking the wave-runner out alone.  They couldn't believe we were making them take this GRUELING class for 3 hours a day for 5 WHOLE days on their summer vacation.  The nerve of us!

Well, I am proud to say that with much perseverance and negotiations (thankfully I have Real Estate to chalk those skills up to) on June 27th, 2008, Nick and Alex are LEGAL boat operators!

Congratulations to the both of you!  I KNEW YOU COULD DO IT!  Just one more request...PLEASE remember everything you learned in class and BE SAFE and HAVE FUN!
