Friday Fun…The Eggs Have Been Laid!
No not from the Easter Bunny! In addition to our bluebird box at home, Larry and I monitor boxes at Kickerillo-Mischer Preserve.
With our beautiful Spring weather, we have nesting activities in 3 boxes there.
In this crazy world we live in, it’s refreshing and like a breath of fresh air to see new life coming into it.

Mike Warfel Thank you. We don't have cameras in them but we check on the boxes to make sure everything is ok. When the birds have fledged, Larry cleans the boxes and replaces them for the next brood. Hope you enjoy your nesting boxes.

We have a robin's nest that I took pictures of from the laying of the eggs to the babies flying out of their nest. It was fun taking the pictures! Spring is the time of new Beginnings!
