Jim Rohn once said, “One person caring about another represents life’s greatest value.” As much as we hold the value of others high, we can forget about our own, and fall into the trap of believing we can lose our value as agents. Read why I refuse to believe this.
Imagine I’m holding up a nice, crisp $20 bill. It looks perfect — no fold marks, no wearing along the edges; it looks like I took it right off the printing press! This is the epitome of “mint condition” and, as we all know, worth every bit of that $20. If I wanted to give it to you, you probably wouldn’t hesitate to take it!
Now, what if I crumpled up that $20? What if it no longer looked mint condition? Would you still take it? Of course! It’s still $20, right? Now, how about this? What if I dropped it in a mud puddle and ran over it with my car several times? Would you still take it? Well, probably yes, once it dries, but even though it suffers dramatically, it’s still worth $20. It could be a 30-year-old bill, stinky and grimy, but its value never changes, no matter what happens to it.

Never Lose Sight Of Your Value
Sometimes, as real estate agents, we feel like we are losing our value. We might feel beat up and crumpled by life’s stresses. Our bad circumstances might be taking a toll on us, mentally and physically. We might be treated poorly by the people around us or be dealing with loss or other struggles.
It’s important that we don’t internalize these feelings because we are still valuable no matter what. We are still worth exactly what we are worth, no matter what. When external challenges start beating on you, remember this: You were put on this planet for a purpose. Nobody else has the same purpose, so you need to make the difference you are intended to make. Know your value.

Go into your week leaving bright and brilliant colors in your wake and live your purpose, no matter what.
