“A Tiger Doesn’t Lose Sleep Over The Opinion Of Sheep." -- Shahir Zag

This means that we shouldn’t allow the opinions of those who don’t understand us to affect us negatively. By being your version of a fearsome and strong tiger, you won’t need anyone but yourself to make a success out of your life.

You will likely come across many sheep who have the same opinion like everyone else in life and business, and they will find excuses and reasons not to "see the glass half full!"

It's critical to take on the mindset of a tiger. Why?

Tigers are among the most intelligent animals in the world. Here are some other noble attributes of the tiger that humans can learn.

Tigers hunt alone. You will see the level of focus that will leave you breathless.  A hunting tiger's determination combined with intricate precision, moving silently and confidently, provides the tiger success as a tiger more often gets its prey.

Set your own goals. Focus. Tune out the unimportant distractions and stay focused on the things that matter. When you make your own way in life, you make your experience more meaningful and unique.

Tigers are adaptable. Tigers' stripes are an adaptation that provides tigers with the ability to blend in with their surroundings in the jungle. Tigers become nearly invisible in natural habitats as their stripe patterns correspond through tall grasses and thick jungle trees. It is difficult for both predators and preys to spot tigers in the wild.

Tigers have the innate ability to think on their feet and change directions. They know that life in the jungle can be unpredictable.

Life always offers challenges, and it’s crucial to adapt and improvise if we want to succeed.

Tigers have patience. A hunting tiger waits patiently with a laser focus on the prey's every move. They understand that good things come to those who wait!

We live in a society of instant gratification, and in such a world, there’s no “place” for patience. This creates twin realities: two worlds living parallel to one another. The vast majority of people live firmly in instant gratification, but a few have come to understand the power and rewards of learning patience's fine art. Of course, these goals are attainable, but they aren’t realized instantaneously.

Patience is how you can change your world. The more patience you have and apply, the more significant the change you can affect.

Tigers protect their loved ones. A male tiger will wait for the female and young cubs to eat before taking their share. Such behavior is rare among other wild and powerful creatures known for their ferocious and relentless killing instinct!

Connect to people who are important to you. Show them what you love about them. Speak from the heart. Tell each person whom you love how important s/he is to you. If you want to be loved, give love.

Listen to their dreams. If you see someone who needs help, offer your support. Don't expect anything in return. In life's fascinating equation, giving is receiving.  Experience the joy of giving. It's priceless!

Tigers seize opportunities. A tiger does not wait for prey to stop by, and it goes hunting when hungry, looking for its target.

Seize the day and opportunity that awaits us. Set your goal, plan, and let your dreams guide it. Don't let anyone tell you what you can or cannot do. Open your heart and be ready to be inspired. Let the inspiration connect with your spirit, and continue to dream. Believe in yourself!

"There is nothing like the thrill of walking through the jungle looking for a tiger and knowing they could be watching you already." - Ashlan Gorse Cousteau.

I am on board with you about the cat's characteristics. I love that cats are independent, gentle, and affectionate. But yet, powerful in their own way. Don't you wish your pet cat could talk to you?

I was born in the Chinese Year of Tiger, and this year, 2022, is the year of Tiger. So, I was inspired to write about tigers because I think I am a tiger in many ways!

I didn't get a chance to say Happy New Year, so here it is,  (belated) Happy New Tiger year 2022 to you. Go Tiger! Nina!🦁

I love how you sum it up: Focus, Patience, and "seize" that opportunity by its throat!

If there was one thing I could reminisce of tiger's quality is how the cat focuses when it is watching the prey's every move in silence. It takes my breath away when I see that.

Hi Aura - excellent post and analogy.  By the way I can't stop thinking of "Eye of the Tiger" for the movie Rocky.

It's true, Brian England. Too often, we say, "it doesn't bother me," but we feel the opposite deep down, and it hurts more than folks can admit to others. It's hard to do!

I see animals through a different lens as I learn more about them. To me, it's fascinating how tigers are very intelligent and powerful, but we see the lion as the King of the Wild. Not to say I disagree with the lion, but I would take the tiger's side any time in the fight between tiger and lion! Thank Goodness, there are no tigers in the African jungle other than in the zoo!

I must agree with Jack Hanna.  The tiger is my favorite of all the wild animals!

Hi Aura- I have always found tigers intriguing and when I think about it they are one of the animals I always stopped by to admire when at the zoo. They do have many attributes that we could all adapt to our own way of living.

I would not have guessed to ascribe a Tiger to your identity, but your explanation does make sense of it.

I don't see you as the stalking type, but I can see you persuading prey to give itself up!

Yes, they are intriguing, and I love the stripes on tigers. When I retire and have some time, I'd like to paint a tiger's face. I'm fascinated by their captivating color and how a tiger's face, especially the eyes look so mysterious and powerful. I wonder if one of these tigers would pose or stay still long enough for me to finish painting him!

Someday when or if I get to meet you, you might say...but...but...aura, I thought you were...!! LOL!!!

I love the challenge, though, and if the prey gives up, I might let them go and lose interest in hurting them!

This is an excellent post to share and I will schedule a reblog. I wish you would not have a date in the title. It makes a reblog more challenging.

P.S. I deleted all of Friday's posts with dates. Thank you for saying something. I appreciate your advice.
