Sandpoint Realty Friday Flag

'Friday Flag' this week is at Riverstone Center in Coeur D'Alene Idaho.  I always enjoy seeing a construction site, or piece of heavy equipment, that is flying Ole Glory.

Thank you Couer D' Alene Construction company for proudly flying our USA Flag at your site.

Ed Silva ,  I will never forget the day after 9-11.  Travelling west on Hwy 80 from Reno Nevada.  Large paving job on the highway.  Paving crew had rigged a LARGE pole and US flag to the paving machine.  It stood tall.  Rollers running behind the hot pavement with trucks lined up in front of the paver...all moving in unison.  Large clouds dressing the mountain tops of both sides of the canyon.  Impressive to say the least.  A sight I will never forget.  Mark

Hi Mark:

I so enjoy this series and all the interesting places where you find flags. I saw one on the very top of a tall crane a number of months ago - wish I had taken a photo!

Enjoy your weekend!

Jeff

Hello jeff,  We have a couple of very large cranes at either side of 'The Long Bridge' in Sandpoint.  I have tried and if you get the crane the flag seems too small.  You get the flag and the crane does not really show its size.  Oh well, it is nice to see as coming across the bridge...photo worthy or not.  Mark

Mark- I am so happy that you are continuing to share with us your Friday Flag posts. And I too remember how after 9/11 so many businesses and homes were flying our flag. We even had US flag pins we wore.

Hi Mark... another great picture of our beautiful flag. I live in a neighborhood where flags are proudly flown all year... somehow never get around to taking a picture.

It does take an extra moment to do so.  I am in the habit now so don't notice the extra minute or two.  Make it a great weekend Nina.  Mark
