There still seems to be more demand than there is supply Joan Cox which usually indicates that prices will not decrease.

Brian so true when Diane and I moved to Los Angeles buying homes in the Hollywood Hills were going for about $350-$600k.... now those homes are going for $2-5 million at the entry point... we waited until a bout seven years ago to buy in Westchester.... needless to say we bought in the mid $600k.... so waiting did hurt:)Endre

That is why my advice is always the best time to buy or sell is when you are ready to buy or sell Endre Barath, Jr..  I bought my home in 2008 which wasn't the best time, but I was ready to buy and still came out smelling like a rose.
