Okay...now that Jeremy Blanton wrote: How to Set Up Domain for Outside AR Blog I was able to follow the step by step instructions and set up my outside blog with all my public posts that I've written on ActiveRain.

It's just so time consuming to have MANY other outside blogs and then try and write different articles to each. I have great Google Juice from ActiveRain alone but it's nice to have my own domain name with all the hard work and effort that I put into writing my posts here.

The main thing I will use this for is adding a link to my signature in all my emails that go out so if a client wants to keep up with my blog they can just click click click.

My username on ActiveRain is cheesmanhomes so I thought I would just do the same for my new OUTSIDE Blog.

www.cheesemanhomes.com

Rich Jacobson wrote a post this morning titled:  "So, What's the Point?" The Genius and Curse of the ActiveRain Points System and basically I was thinking all day how I am proud of what I write...like Broker Bryant says, Original Content....ALL the time.

I'm proud of my blog on ActiveRain....so why not flaunt it?????

So now you're all set up!!!!  What's the benefit of having an outside blog?  Sorry, I'm a little dense still when it comes to the benefit of all the blogging ... wouldn't it just be another site I'd have to then direct folks to and advertise?  Ok, sorry for my techno ignorance ...  I want to understand, I really do!  lol

I am stoked about this new option.  I plan on getting it all set up ASAP myself.  Good blogging to you!

Pat: Pretty cool...for those who do write some great stuff it is worth it to get a year thingy for 9.99....

Kathy: For this one with my own domain name it's MINE...all MINE :) and makes it more personal...I like directing potential clients to my blogs...I have a couple of others but it is too time consuming to write...rewrite....copy from here and this one goes RIGHT there. Advertise?  I guess if you want to call it that.

My blog gives a little bit of me ...in whatever I write about.

PS, What does Google Juice taste like and how will I know when I get some. Is it citrus or bland or what? Since you have so much od it maybe you could share with us what it is and how we can get some. Is it good for ones health? Is it loaded with carbs? Do they have make diet Google Juice? Just wondering. Every time I hear about this Google Juice, my silly little mind wonders when I am going to get some and if I will like it.

Sally,
That's great that you have your own domain, it is easy for me to set up a domain and redirect to our outside blogs, I am just wondering if with the re direction it does not affect our juice or rank with Google., not sure about it, any google expert about this? I do not know if google cares or not about a re direction and have the same power as something without re direction.
