Get After It: Have You Listened Or Just Heard?

We will have to open up our minds a little bit and kind of diverge from the path that we are used to, I suppose. :)

I don't know why, but these words from George Bernard Shaw, remind me of another quote that asks a question: "If a tree falls in the forest and no one is around to hear it, does it make a sound?"  

Hmm, I have never really thought of following up after a problem had been resolved.  For me, I guess if I really wanted that person in my life, I would definitely follow up.

Good morning Thomas. Everyone is guilty at one time or another of hearing a comment but not listening! A good reminder, the wise listen! Enjoy your day.

Hmmm... I'm not sure I want to dredge up any wounds that have started to heal. I'll have to think about this one.

Thomas, when necessary, I do check back around with folks. Example our house cleaners (owner/boss) has been very ill and I wanted to cheer her on and let her know all is ok and her daughter is handling everything for all the clients in a great manner so she wouldn't worry.   And there is a line I won't cross - and that my friend is 'drama land'.  Some folks prefer living in 'drama land'  for years and that's fine.  There are other folks to handle that land category!  Just not Banana!

Hi Thomas - if I think that I may have been misunderstood or if someone said things were ok just to shut me up, I may try to approach them to make sure things were ok.
