Ok, I was ready, I was pumped, and poof I disappear for over a week! I know horrible huh. But of course life managed to get right in the way of my new blogging path. I have tons of blog subjects already thought of but have not had the time to write them. Actually, its not that I haven't had the time, its that I didn't make them a priority and fit them into my schedule!
That is what I learned from a lecture / training session I attended and had the priviledge of meeting and speaking with Saul Serna. This man is awesome and listening to him speak is very inspiring. The thing he talked about that kinda made the ah hah bulb go off (come on you guys know what I'm talking about!)
was that You decide what You do. In a week you have at total of 168 hours you need approximately 77 hours to sleep and eat leaving over 91 hours to do whatever you want. Now if you choose to work 40 hours a week (don't I wish) that still leaves 51 hours. Plenty of time to blog, spend time with the husband, whatever. So it hits me, do what I have my agents and clients do, plan out your day, prioritize, and set daily, weekly, monthly goals. Once again, don't just talk the talk but actually walk the walk. So I am here tonight and I am telling you my next blog will be posted by Thursday and it is going to be titled, A Virtual Assistant, helping our clients from contract to close. I have written out my goal and I have scheduled time in my next two days to complete this task. Therefore it will be done!
Also as a side note I have started a group entitled "Accountabilty" which was suggested by Patrick Johnsen (http://www.activerain.com/patrickjohnson). Just like he pointed out to me, we can all use someone to hold us accountable sometime! So please join me and lets keep each other motivated!
